The Child Advocacy Center of Northeast Missouri serves children disclosing sexual abuse, physical abuse, and children who witness violence.
Since opening our doors in 2000, our staff and community partners have been the front-line responders to reports of child abuse. Our nonprofit organization exists to protect children, heal families and prevent abuse.
The primary goal of The Child Advocacy Center of Northeast MO is to ensure that children disclosing abuse are not further victimized by the intervention systems designed to protect them. Services offered include forensic interviews, children and family advocacy, mental health therapy, and school and community-based prevention education programs.

In 2023, we provided sexual abuse prevention education to 51,562 children

How we help
The Child Advocacy Center of Northeast MO is here to allow children to share their experience of abuse or neglect in a child-friendly and non-threatening environment. At The Child Advocacy Center, we operate by what we call the Child First Doctrine; meaning that the child and their well-being is our first priority.
